The Subconscious Realm

Duration:1 hr 31 mins 37 secs

The Subconscious Realm

PSALM 34:7-9

7   The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8   O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9   O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

This word “Fear” = to stand in awe of, be awed, to have reverence, honour, and respect.

And you cannot have the right type of fear and attitude and understanding and feeling toward God unless you know him at a deeper level then just at your mind level.

8   O taste and see that the LORD is good

This tasting is not to be just at a surface level of our reasoning and memory and conscience, but this taste is to penetrate right down to the soul of man which is at the very centre of what we all are.

The Subconscious Realm

Subject – Our need for Fellowship

God made man for fellowship, to first have fellowship with God, and then also to have fellowship with one another.

***We can never have the right relationship and fellowship with one another until we first have the right understanding and relationship with God.

WHO.IS.GOD_ CLEVELAND.OH TUESDAY_ 50-0815

E-21 …Then we, in fellowship, what Adam lost in the fall, Christ restored in His death. (Do you believe that?) to bring man back into fellowship with God.

Though the advancement of science and technology there are many social media platforms with the likes of Facebook which claims to have over 2 billion uses per month, and then there is Twitter and Instagram, Snapchat, Telegram, and dozens more.

And although these social platforms can certainly help people to connect together and have fellowship, it is not the original way that man was made by God to communicate with one other, and so therefore it often doesn’t truly hit the spot and satisfy the human need deep down in their spirit like a real face to face talk and fellowship can do.

Many people try so hard to satisfy the taste for the things of God and for fellowship by many other things.

A.THINKING.MAN'S.FILTER_ JEFF.IN V-5 N-6 SUNDAY_ 65-0822E

64     Now we find out, of our day, that the people has got a taste. And why does a man smoke a cigarette? Is to satisfy a taste. What does the woman smoke a cigarette for? Satisfy a taste.

65   And then if the church has figured out, a religious group, they... to get people in there, they've got to have a certain kind of a filter to give the people the taste that they want. So if they don't get any taste that they want, they don't want the cigarette. And if they can't get the taste that they want in religion, they don't take the religion. Now, just as plain as it can be.

***So fellowship is also a taste that God put deep down within each one of us, a desire for fellowship, and that is twofold - a desire for fellowship with God, and also a desire to fellowship with our fellow man.

FELLOWSHIP.BY.REDEMPTION_ JEFF.IN V-26 N-17 SUNDAY_ 55-0403

97   Now, man once was made, even in our polluted condition that we are today, man was made to serve God. That's His full duty on the earth. Hear the great, wisest man, Solomon, and all the rest of them, speaking in the Ecclesiastes, he said, "Let's hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the full duty of man." That's the full duty of man.

We wonder why we're running along here, men and women, why that we wear clothes and have to strive, and the animals don't. God feeds His little old birds and takes care of everything else. But we have to shift for ourself. Is because sin separated us from our Maker. That's what did it. Now, man as he's moving along...

You don't see the animal embettering himself. He can't embetter himself. If he gets any better treatment, it's got to come from some other source. He doesn't build hisself a better house. He doesn't make hisself fry his meat, where he used to eat it raw. See? It has to be done because he... There's nothing in him to give him a soul. A animal doesn't have a soul.

But a man has a soul. And therefore, that soul is a part of God. And even in its fallen state, yet it's the most greatest specie of all the species of the earth, is the man. And then get him in connection with his Maker, he becomes a superman almost, because he's a son of God. He becomes acquainted with his Maker, with the Creator of all things. And then when that man there, acquainted with his Maker, becomes a part of his Maker, becomes back into fellowship with his Maker, every Divine Word becomes a living reality to him, and he believes it.

***Outside of this purpose that God made man for (this purpose to serve God and to have fellowship with God), a man can only but feel unfulfilled, he will feel a barrenness and an emptiness deep down, and so he will try to satisfy that taste for God with many other things, and that is why so many turn to social media because it has a lot to do with trying to satisfy that hunger for fellowship and acceptance.

**As believers of this message, it is important that we understand that there is a barrenness that we will have to go through in our lives by being a believer of the word of God, especially as believers of this message, and many people don’t want to suffer through that, they want to bring forth right now by an easier method without having to wait for the real thing (for the real fellowship with God), they want the cheaper form now, and that was Eve’s problem - it was the wrong type of fellowship with the serpent that seemed to her to solve her problem from being barren, but it was that wrong fellowship that brought her soul into the wrong state in her subconscious realm that finally led her into death.

**The right fellowship can lead you to life, but the wrong fellowship can also lead you to death.

THE.REPROACH.FOR.THE.CAUSE.OF.THE.WORD_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-16 SUNDAY_ 62-1223

22-5   Watch the scoffness of barrenness, being scoffed, the reproach of barrenness first. They had... She had to stand the reproach of being barren for all those years. She was nearly a hundred years old... She was ninety. But the Word of God that said she would also be princess--a mother of this child. And she and Abraham barren, both of their bodies as well as dead, but yet they never doubted that Word one bit. But they had to stand that first, and then (Hallelujah.) God kept His Word in that dark hour. Isaac was born, and his seed is like the sands of the sea or the stars of heaven. See, God always answers His Word. Yes, barrenness first then Isaac.

Many woman in the bible as the type of the bride of this age suffered as barren woman. There was Rebekah, the bride of Isaac, then there was Hannah, Sarah was a barren woman who received seed but remained barren, all of them had to bare the shame of that barrenness for a season where they were receiving the right seed but they were remaining barren.

THE.REPROACH.FOR.THE.CAUSE.OF.THE.WORD_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-16 SUNDAY_ 62-1223

23-7   …Oh, yes, barrenness first, have to be bare; have to stand a reproach of barrenness. Sarah had to stand it. So did Zacharias and Elisabeth have to stand it.

And in this hour (as the true bride of Christ) we know that we also have to stand that for a season. When we believe this message of the promise word for this hour, and we receive the seed of that promise, and then it looks like nothing is happening, it looks barren, and like these woman in the bible we feel a barrenness because it looks like the promise has failed and not come to pass, but don’t worry, God will bring all of his promises to pass.

Osmosis

***Much of the way we conduct our everyday lives comes from the force of habit of what has already been programed into us by repetition and by the influence from the subconscious observation of others that surround us.

Much of our learning is done unconsciously by osmosis.

Osmosis in biology is the process in animals and plants by which a liquid passes gradually from one part to another through a membrane.

*But this same word “Osmosis” is also used for the process by which ideas and information are absorbed without conscious effort, it is the way in which ideas and information gradually spread between people:

Two examples:

1. The children were never taught the songs, they just listened to other children singing them and learned them by osmosis.

2. Reading is not picked up by the process of osmosis, but needs to be taught.

This is why the culture you are raised in is not taught to you like school lessons, if you grow up in a certain culture like if you were raise in India, or Germany, or Switzerland, or as an Amish in Pennsylvania you would automatic grow up mostly with the ideas of the way of life of that culture because of osmosis – you pick up the ways of that culture subconsciously just by being surrounded by it all the time.

So learning by osmosis in the conscious and the subconscious realm is also mixed with formal learning in the conscience realm, but the subconscious realm is what makes us believe and do the things we do in a far greater way than what we can learn by receiving information into our minds and trying to recall that information to try to remember how to act in any given situation – and that is why psychology doest work all that well because you forget the things that you learn in your head, you cannot recall them in time of need to live your life from that realm.

***So what makes us the way we are is that we are motivated and mostly controlled from our subconscious realm, and this is called faith or doubt. That is why if we doubt the word of God deep down, then we cannot come into the fulness of a fellowship with God nor can we truly become overcomers in the scriptural sense of the word because it is only the truth of the word within us that can overcome the Devil.

FAITH_ CHARLOTTE.NC FRIDAY_ 56-0427

E-96   Do you believe that, lady, setting right there? Yes. Had more faith than you thought you had. See? Faith is a subconscious thing, lady. Faith is not a mental act. See? It's something that you subconsciously do it. People try to look to their intellects for faith, when faith doesn't lay in here. Reasons lay here. Faith lays in the soul.

THE.INSIDE.MAN_ CHICAGO.IL SATURDAY_ 53-1212

E-29   Why, Jesus said, "Have faith in God." Is that right? "For verily, verily I say unto you, if you (not if I), if you shall say unto this mountain, 'Be moved' and don't doubt it, it'll obey you." It'd have to. It'd have to do just what you say, if you didn't doubt it. Now, you believe it up here. Now, let's get this subconscious believing it too. And when the subconscious and this conscious in harmony with God, then it'll happen.

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS_ JEFF.IN COD WEDNESDAY_ 59-1223

491-97   …I want to ask you. Was there many times that you people in here, many of you have seen times where you would--you just knowed something was going to happen. It looked like it was impossible for it to, but you did, knowed it was going to happen. Did you ever have that? That's that faith, that subconscious a-working.

EXPECTATION_ PHOENIX.AZ SUNDAY_ 54-0228A

E-42   When those little shackles and dark shadows gets broke away, then the Holy Spirit can come right in and perform miracles, and, oh, what He can... There's nothing impossible with it then. But just that little doubt setting there.

Just like I was speaking to a brother this morning, a man crossing the river. People come up here to the platform lots of times, say, "Oh, Brother Branham, I got all faith." But now, they--they believe that in sincerity. Like on the visions and so forth. It--it--it's... By God's gift it's possible then to find where that flaw is. See, 'cause God reveals it many times.

Now, you say, "I've got faith." The first thing, you have to have a base for faith. That's God's Word. Well then, the man goes to school and he learns theology. He reads It, said, "God said so." "Yes, I believe that." He believes it here in his mind. See? But he's got a subconscious also. And that subconscious disagrees with this. Because when he starts to do it, he's a little bit scared it won't happen, and it won't. That's right.

E-43   It's just like as long... That's the truth, friends. I've been a minister now twenty-one years, studying of the Scripture in every way that I know how. And I have to be very careful on what I say.

Like the man crossing the--the sea. The man goes across the sea. The real man that drives the ship, he never sees where he's going. He's down in the bowels of the ship. He's the engineer. The man setting up here on deck, he takes... gives him orders from the man up in the crow nest. He says now... He will send down word, "Two knots to the left." Now, the man down here, he don't see where he's going; it's just the engine.

Well, what if he would give it two knots to the right? Or what if he just wouldn't give it at all? The man up here says, "Go forward," and he puts it in reverse. It goes backward. They'll never get out of the harbor.

***As we grow up from a child, we form ideas from the culture and environment that we are surrounded in while we are growing up, and this affects us subconsciously and begins to form deep seated beliefs in our subconscious realm.

***And then these beliefs become to us like an absolute – we just know we are right because that belief is at a deeper level within us then just on the surface of our conscious mind.

***But if any of those beliefs are contrary to the word of God, then that is unbelief within us at a subconscious level within the soul, and that hinders our fellowship with God, and that keeps us from the satisfaction of the fellowship that God intended that we have with him.

So many times when we sit in church and are taught the truth of the word of God in our conscious minds, and then we really try to belief what we are taught in our minds because in our minds we know it’s right, but our subconscious mind will not agree with our conscious mind because of what has been already formed in that lower realm.

SIRS.BE.OF.A.GOOD.CHEER_ CHICAGO.IL WEDNESDAY_ 54-0721

E-27   Now, if you notice, the subconscious is where you live. That's where you, yourself live. That's the reason people, it's hard for them to have faith. Up here, first, they say," Yes, I got faith," but down in here something says, "but it's not for you."

But it is for you…

One of the biggest lies that the enemy tries to project into our minds is that it is for others but not for us, but it is for us.

Opening scripture

PSALM 34:8a

8   O taste and see that the LORD is good:

That taste and fellowship with God can only be truly satisfied by the truth of the word of God when it is established in the subconscious realm down in the soul. How does the word become established in the soul?, that is where the Holy Spirit is the one to lead you into all truth – it is a process that you grow into.

ROMANS 12:2

2   And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For the believer, that renewal and transformation takes place in the subconscious realm. From glory to glory He’s changing me…

***The Subconscious Realm is where true fellowship and oneness with God takes place…
