The Coronation and Mother’s Day

I PETER 5:4

4   And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

REVELATION 3:11

11   Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Crown = 1a) a mark of royal or (in general) exalted rank; the wreath or garland which was given as a prize to victors in public games.

The Coronation and Mother’s Day

Coronation = The ceremony of crowning a sovereign. Being exalted to a high position of royalty.

crowning – enthronement – accession to the highest office.

It is interesting to notice that this corona virus is named a crown because under a microscope it looks like a crown – we can certainly agree that it has received a crown of power to destroy and cause havoc upon the earth.

There are many crowns spoken of in the scriptures

A crown of life

A crown of glory

A crown of righteousness

A crown of rejoicing

We know that before Jesus could be crowned as King of kings and Lord of lords, he first had to wear a crown of thorns, and that is very interesting to understand because that also applies to his true servant and also applies to his true end time bride.

MATTHEW 11:1-6

1     ¶ And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.

2   Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

3   And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

4   Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:

5   The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

6   And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Thinking of mothers in relation to this scripture of how that John was put on the earth for a great purpose as all mothers are, but when he came to the end of his life it looked like things had failed for his life and he even questioned his own purpose. Sometimes your life’s work seems almost like a waist, you can’t understand your own life and purpose - how you thought things would work out is not how things have gone for you, and often you can’t really see the hand of God in it.

So just before the end of John’s natural life on earth, we find that he had become very despondent. John was lock up in a dungeon, a prison house not only physically but he was also confused in his mind which can also be like a prison house.

And we are also living in a time of souls in prison NOW. We are living in the prison house of the environment of this evil age and it is also an age of confusion.

***We are serving the prisoners as was Joseph in the prison just before he received the coronation of his crowning.

*Jesus also preached to the souls in prison just before his ascension to the right hand of the father.

*Paul was in prison just before he was beheaded and received a crown of immortality.

So we see this pattern in people lives especially when they get closer to the end of their earthly journey, that if you stay with the truth of the word you will be rejected by the world. But there is a great purpose in your life, especially if you are a follower of this end time message.

LUKE 7:22-23

22   Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

23   And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Offend   = skandalizo   {skan-dal-id'-zo} ("scandalize")

1b) to cause a person to begin to distrust and desert one whom he ought to trust and obey; to cause to fall away; to be offended in one, i.e. to see in another what I disapprove of and what hinders me from acknowledging his authority; to cause one to judge unfavourably or unjustly of another.

MATTHEW 26:33-34

33   Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended. (Sometimes we are convinced in our minds also of the message of this hour, but when the pressure comes on we fail the Lord because things go so different in a negative way to how we thought they would go, and it throws people into a confused and depressed condition, and Jesus knew this)

34   Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

All men became offended at this ministry of the son of man because it ended so different to what they thought it would – remember that it will pattern that way again in this age under this message – it will look like it has failed. But yet the reality was that this was actually the greatest event and purpose of Jesus life just before the Coronation of his ministry. This would be the greatest victory and crowning of his life’s work and purpose and the very reason of his coming into the world - and yet it looked like the greatest defeat to everyone else.

**Look at John the Baptist, his ministry was crowned by his execution, that was when he was exalted to his prize and crowned for his ministry.

John the Baptist ended up in prison as a result of doing the work of God, his entire life’s purpose and work and service had caused him to be found in this condition of being bound in a prison house at the end of it all.

Jesus hadn’t come to visit him, it seemed that he had gotten the raw end of the deal so to speak, and as he thought about it in prison, it didn’t seem fair.

*As mothers and believers of the message today, you may end up in a state of rejection and even confused within yourself from time to time because of following the truth this age, and you have to watch that you don’t become offended.

But Jesus said “blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me”.

***The crowning of a mothers ministry and work in life is to have her children with her on the other side.

ISAIAH 65:23

23   They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

*We are the Jewels in Christ crown.

A wife is a jewel in her husband’s crown, and the children are the jewels in their mother’s crown.

485     And over yonder, in the Land, the City where the Lamb is the Light, I'll know you, Brother McKinney. I'll know you, my people, my jewels in the crown.

You and I under the messenger for this age who are of Brother Branham’s converts will be the jewels in his crown.

E-5

For someday He surely will come, and with Him, ten thousands of His saints. "And we, which are alive and remain, shall not prevent them which are asleep; for the trump of God shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first; and then we shall be caught up together with them, to meet the Lord in the air."

Oh, what a consolation of waiting for that grand time, and if we should fall asleep before that great event, we are the promised people to come forth first. O God, we just see that that we meet each other before we meet Him. For God, knowing how to do things, knew that we would be longing to see mother, and dad, and the children before we meet the Lord. And He wants everything settled, that when we meet Him we can just worship Him and crown Him the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. We long for that hour.

So we notice that the Crowning of Jesus Ministry was His resurrection and His ascension to the father, but before that there had to be a rejection by the world and a crucifixion and a prison house. Notice - From the prison house to the throne.

That was what preceded the crowning was the prison house like also were John the Baptise was – and that is why people become discouraged and confused when they find themselves in a prison house, they get all confused, and that is also why mothers become discouraged and confused.

MARK 14:27

27   And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.

The message of this hour has to be smitten – and to us who are followers of this message, it looks to us like it is a defeat to the message.

Read some quotes from the message “Present stage of My Ministry” (September 1962) preached just before the opening of the seven seals.

William Branham was trying to understand what was happening to him and his ministry and what stage he was at along the journey of his ministry by seeing the pattern of his life in the scriptures.

And as the Bride of Christ, we also have a ministry that has continued on since the prophet, and there are also stages of our ministry that if we don’t understand the stages of our ministry we could misinterpret what is happening, and we could also become discouraged because we don’t understand what stage we are at in the process of the journey to our coronation which will be the gathering with our loved ones and the rapturing of the church. Remember that the gathering is first and that has already started on this side under this message.

PRESENT.STAGE.OF.MY.MINISTRY_ JEFF.IN V-11 N-2 SATURDAY_ 62-0908

111   That dark hour... Mid rendering rocks and darkening skies," said the poet, "my Saviour bowed His head and died; the opening veil revealed the way to heaven's joys and endless day."

He had to do that in order to make a way for us. That's right. But what did God do? He was true to the Word and He embraced the cross. But was it the end of His ministry? Was His ministry washed up? God crowned it with the greatest crown that ever could been crowned. He crowned it on Easter morning, on the resurrection. He crowned the ministry of our Lord Jesus, He raised from the dead and is alive forevermore. He wasn't washed up because all men forsook Him; He was crowned. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. He was crowned because that He was, had been forsaken, and He must do that when He raised Him from the dead.

Joseph was also crowned…

Joseph’s life didn’t get better as things went along, he had a few ups along the way, but the general pattern of it was that things got worse for him after he had received that great revelation from God. He was rejected by his brothers, and then he was thrown in a pit, and then he was lied on about raping his masters wife, and then he was thrown into the prison house, and then he became a servant to the prisoners – I am sure there were days that he also felt confused.

But then from the lowest he was crowned and exalted to the highest to sit at the right hand of Pharaoh.

**From dust to stars, from the prison house to the throne, from being all washed up, to being all washed in.

Notice - Paul had also been reduced to a prisoner in bonds, when?, at the end of his ministry. Why?, because the way up is first down.

II TIMOTHY 4:7-10

7   I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8   Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

9     ¶ Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

10   For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

Just before Paul’s crowning we find him in a condition of weakness to the point where his most trusted friends are leaving him because it looks like he has lost the power of his ministry – they had become offended because they thought he had lost his power.

PRESENT.STAGE.OF.MY.MINISTRY_ JEFF.IN V-11 N-2 SATURDAY_ 62-0908

41   But now I want to take you from the 5th verse, on down to the 18th verse. And now, to save time I--I won't read it. But now Paul, starting off over here in Timothy again, if you notice how he begin to speak; it's pathetic. Now, if you notice after the 5th verse.

For I am now ready to be offered, and my time of... departure is at hand: (Fixing to leave the scene. Starts off. See?) I have... (Well, watch.)... my... I'm ready, and my departure is at hand.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me at that day: and not only me only, but... all them also that love his appearing.

And then he goes ahead to tell, "Do all... do these things." What? For him to bring the coat. Now, we start right off, and he says:

Demas has forsaken me,...

There must come a time in his ministry when he was a young evangelist, a young prophet, everybody was for him. But now, you notice on down in here, it said:

... all men has forsaken me:... (What for? The Word)

PRESENT.STAGE.OF.MY.MINISTRY_ JEFF.IN V-11 N-2 SATURDAY_ 62-0908

77   Now, we find out that Paul... Demas preaching with Paul, had seen Paul see a crippled man laying there, and said, "I perceive you have faith to be healed. Stand up on your feet. Jesus Christ makes you well." Had seen him heal the sick, and yet he leaves his friend Trophimus sick.

"Paul's lost his ministry." That's what Demas must have thought. "Why didn't he, if he had a gift of healing, why didn't he go up there and heal that buddy that stood by him so faithful? He said, 'I've left him up there sick. And I ain't got no coat, and I want you to bring me that coat along. And be careful of that coppersmith; he just ruined that meeting in the city. I had to leave the town. He put me in jail.'"

I imagine Demas said, "What kind of a preacher has this turned out to be?" See?

And, brother, they got a lot of them Demas spirits in the world today. They don't know what it's all about. See? No need trying to explain it to them, 'cause they won't get it anyhow. See, see? A servant of Christ follows the footprints.

PRESENT.STAGE.OF.MY.MINISTRY_ JEFF.IN V-11 N-2 SATURDAY_ 62-0908

85   Now, how that man must have felt, a man with so many millionaire friends and one coat, a man that was--had power to smite a man blind, and let a man run him out of town: never done a thing about it, got up and went out. Prayed for the sick and had left his friend sick. And Demas left him. All the rest of them left him. All of them left him. Paul said, "All men left me." Every one of them left him. (Did all of Joseph’s brothers leave him? did all of Jesus disciples leave him? did all of Pauls associates leave him? Did all of brother Branham’s associates leave him? will all your associates leave you?)

I say this. When a man stands true to the Word, not just in one meeting, but in every meeting, when a man stands true to the Word, the time will come when they'll leave him. Exactly. They did it. They did it to our Lord. They'll leave him when he stands for Truth. "All men has forsaken me." And now what do you think that Demas and some of them men thought, when we all know, that know the Scripture, that Luke was a doctor, and Paul, wherever he went took this doctor with him? And preaching Divine healing, and leaving his friend sick... So poor, that he had one coat... And let a man run him out of town, when he could smite a man blind. See, they thought he was washed up. But he wasn't. He was exactly in the bloody footprints. He was following on. I hope you're understanding. He said, "All men has forsaken me." - Why, because it looked like the power had left his ministry!

Demas thought Paul was washed up, and he became offended at him.

They thought brother Branham was washed up, and they became offended at him.

Jesus’s own disciples on the night of the betrayal became offended at him because it looked like Jesus power had failed to deliver him, it looked like the power had left him, and the message had failed them.

**Sometimes a wife will even leave her husband because he looks all washed up, but that is the time to stick with him through sickness and in health, for richer and poorer, for better or for worse.

That is why people leave this message also, because things get a little rough in the marriage.

MATTHEW 26:31

31     ¶ Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

And so will it be with the true bride. Just before the end it will look like the son of man ministry is all washed up, it will look like the bride is all washed up, so many are becoming offended in the word of this hour, they are becoming offended for popularities sake. They are asking the same question as John the Baptist – “Is this message really it, or should we look for another”?

The Rich young Ruler:

Jesus knew that in order for the Rich young Ruler to go up, he first needed to go down.

LUKE 18:22

22   Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

23   And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

He was offended; the word of Jesus (if he had obeyed it) would have brought him into a position of natural weakness financially, and he would have lost his popularity.

Our test can also be in the area of finances as with the rich young ruler, can we be faithful to God in our finances by putting God first.

GO.TELL.MY.DISCIPLES_ JEFF.IN V-25 N-5 SUNDAY_ 53-0405S

31   Then I think of great, noted men who died, believing in our Lord Jesus Christ and His resurrection. I think of, here, of--of D. L. Moody, at his death, a lot have said. "Why, is this death?" He said, "This is my coronation day."

MOTHER'S.DAY_ JEFF.IN V-25 N-1 SUNDAY_ 59-0510M

84   And I think of the thousands that I've seen converted, yes, into the millions now, a going, and what their ministry was. Oh, it'll take more than a resurrection. It'll take an eternity to go around shaking hands and finding out things that I don't know now.

There will be those old gray-headed mothers, that you're wearing those white flowers for today, that'll see you, and they'll be beautiful, not represented by a pot of flowers, or some picture of an old gray-headed person; but in the likeness and beauty of the resurrection, they'll stand in the likeness of Christ, their celestial bodies, young and beautiful forever. Sure, that's the rest. That's the mother's day that I'm waiting for. That's the coronation. Not the carnation on the lapel, but the coronation of the soul, for God has changed her.

God prepares you your whole lifetime long for the Coronation at the end of your life.

During the dark ages many gave their lives as martyrs for the sake of the word, it looked like a defeat, but it was their greatest victory and coronation day.

I CORINTHIANS 9:25

25   And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

PRESENT.STAGE.OF.MY.MINISTRY_ JEFF.IN V-11 N-2 SATURDAY_ 62-0908

120 … I'm trusting in Him, someday; I don't know when, for a crowning of my ministry. I'll stay just as true as I could be. I don't know what it'll be; I don't know when it'll be. And I... But when He's ready, I am. Now, look here. I hope He'll crown my ministry with this, of letting me take the clothes of the Word and dress His Bride in the clothes of the Word and for His righteousness. I hope He'll crown me and let me stand there on that day, say, "Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world."

Notice when this sermon is preached (September 1962) - Just before the opening of the seven seals, just before the crowning of his ministry that came with the opening of the word that would dress the bride for the wedding and marriage supper.

PRESENT.STAGE.OF.MY.MINISTRY_ JEFF.IN V-11 N-2 SATURDAY_ 62-0908

138   How many Christians are in the Way tonight, in here, that are happy that you started a long time ago, done made your start, and way down along the road, still coming down towards the end; I pray that God will crown your ministry, whatever it is. It may be a housewife. I pray that God will crown your ministry. It may be a preacher. It may be a deacon; it may be a lay member. It may be a farmer. I don't know what it is. Whatever it is, may God crown your life with the glory of His Word, at His second coming rapture you and take you away into another land where you'll just be like that little fish I talked about, out of that blackness down there. See, you couldn't go up there with this kind of a body. Neither could you go up like these astronauts (See?); you have to be in a pressurized tank. You're not pressurized for it. But when God changes you, you're pressurized then; you're going in the rapture then. When these old earthly senses has been lost, and you're gone on in that glorious way of the cross, going home with Jesus...

The bride’s coronation will be the rapture. But just before that coronation there will be many offended at the word; that is what is happening now.

Understand what stage we are at, and realise what is happening by what has happened already in the word.

I.KNOW.MY.REDEEMER.LIVETH_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 58-0406S

E-12   No matter how little you are, how big you are, how important you are, or how unimportant you are, you are here to serve a purpose, just as my finger is here for a purpose. My nail on my finger is for a purpose. My eye and every part of our bodies is to serve a purpose.

And it was not put here just to see what it would look like when it was put here; but it was put here to serve its purpose. It was God's Divine plan to do so. And if we were put here for a purpose, then there is nothing can destroy us until God's purpose is fulfilled. Nothing can harm us until that purpose that God has put us here for has been made manifest.

No matter how much trouble we have, how much heartaches or sorrows that we go through, all of these are reasons, and there's a reason for it.
