MATTHEW 24:27-28

27   For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28   For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

MATTHEW 24:32-33

32     ¶ Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33   So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Read opening scripture again…

MATTHEW 24:32-39 (Remember that Mathew chapter 24 is the seven seals of Revelation 6, so what is written in symbol form in Revelation 6 is written in prophecy form in Mathew 24)

32     ¶ Now learn a parable of the fig tree (The fig tree is the nation of Israel); When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: (This is Israel as a young nation putting forth leaves, and summer time is the beginning of harvest time, and so this is the time period dispensationally of what we are living in now from 1948 to this present time)

33   So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. (Notice here that he is speaking of more than one door - the scripture is telling us of this time that we are at the doors – many doors, and different doors gives you the choice of different entrances that allows you access from one place into another place.

34   Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35   Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36   But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37   But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (So now he begins to open up the mystery of the seventh seal, because the seventh seal is connected to his coming – He already told us that his coming would be as lighting, or light shining – “at evening time it shall be light”)

38   For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, (How did Noah enter the ark? - He entered the ark though a door, and there was only one door into the ark)

39   And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

So in Noah’s day there was just one door of the ark that was presented to the people of that generation, but we also know that there were other doors in Noah’s day that were giving people access to other things such as to sin and unbelief.

II PETER 1:11

11   For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

This word “entrance” means and act of entering, it is a doing word (A verb), it’s an action that we do.

**So the door or the entrance into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is something as the scripture tells us here that is ministered to us and is like a key of faith that causes us to enter in, so the ministry of the word is an entrance being ministered as it was with Noah’s message that was preached that caused those who believed his message to go through the door of the ark in Noah’s day.

DOORS

*I would like to introduce this subject of “Doors” for this service and if the Lord leads we would like to go on into a greater study of this subject and see if we can find some golden nuggets of the word to shine up in regards to this subject.

**Brother Branham preached on this subject of doors many times throughout the message and often connected it with the personal life of the believer in reference to the doors in door. He would explain that just inside your heart’s door are many other doors just like a house has a front entrance door but then there are many rooms within your house with many doors giving entrance into those rooms.

And many people want Jesus to come into their heart’s, but that is as far as they want him to go because they don’t want Him to go into other certain private rooms of their heart because they don’t want to give him access and make him Lord of everything in their lives.

Power point slide

This is the large 24-bolt Diebold vault door at the Winona National Bank Minnesota USA that was built in the early 1900s. It weighs a little over 20 tons.

Doors gives people entrance and access to whatever is beyond the door, and doors are used even more importantly to keep people from entering in to somewhere where they are not meant to have access too. That’s why we have locks on many doors. Brother Branham preached a message called “The Key to the Door” (7th October 1962).

We lock our car doors when we park them in town, we lock our house door when we leave the house – and this is for the purpose to prevent access by undesirable people with wrong motives of theft.

*A door can be used to seal things of great value away like a bank vault door.

So we are all familiar with doors and their uses, and the scripture speaks of doors in many places in the bible.

GENESIS 6:13-17

13     ¶ And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

14   Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

15   And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

16   A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

17   And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

* We find that a door was associated with Noah’s day, because this ark had a door that God used to shut him with the people that believed his message at the judgement time of that day, and it was that same door that also shut out the people who rejected Noah’s message.

GENESIS 7:15-16

15   And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.

16   And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

*We know that Abraham sat at his tent door when he saw the three men coming of which one of them was God himself – that was at the time of Lot when Sodom was destroyed.

GENESIS 18:1-4

1     ¶ And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; (Remember that the door is Christ, and Christ is the word)

2   And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

3   And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

4   Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

*Jesus said of himself that he was the door to the sheepfold.

JOHN 10:7-9

7   Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8   All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9   I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

In Revelation 4 (After the seven church ages were shown to him – that was December 1960 when the church ages were shown and revealed to us in this time) John saw a door opened in heaven.

REVELATION 4:1

1     ¶ After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

We also find that Jesus in Revelation 3 was outside of the door knocking and trying to get back because in the end time Laodicean age he was shut out of the denominational churches by their creeds and the dogma of man’s religious interpretation of the word.

You can’t have fellowship with God and disagree with His word at the same time.

REVELATION 3:20

20   Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

So notice that the opening of the door is connected to receiving truth – that’s what would have opened the Door to Christ for him to come into their denominational churches would be if they had received the truth of the message of this hour because that is who Christ is in this day – He is the mighty God unveiled and revealed to us by his word that has been revealed in this hour.

Opening scripture…

MATTHEW 24:32-39

32     ¶ Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: (Summer time is the beginning of harvest time – remember the three harvests, barley harvest, wheat harvest, and the grape harvest, so this is Israel as a young nation at harvest time which is at the end time of time we are living in now)

33   So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

At the doors meaning - on the very threshold, and therefore about to enter.

At this time there would be doors opened up that would give access for people to enter.

Door = Greek word “thura”   {thoo'-rah}

1b) used of any opening like a door, an entrance, way or passage into

1c) in a parable or metaphor; the door through which sheep go in and out, the name of him who brings salvation to those who follow his guidance; "an open door" is used of the opportunity of doing something; the door of the kingdom of heaven (likened to a palace) denotes the conditions which must be complied with in order to be received into the kingdom of God.

THE.IDENTIFIED.MASTERPIECE.OF.GOD_ YUMA.AZ SATURDAY_ 64-1205

69     See the love of God! After man had fallen and deliberately opened the door to the enemy, and come in and marred him, and set death in him, still God was not willing this be defeated. He came down and started all over again. He was going to make that man again.

**The first time that the word “door” is mentioned in the bible is were Cain’s worship to God of the sacrifice of the works of his hands was rejected by God while Abel’s blood sacrifice was accepted:

GENESIS 4:3-7a

3     ¶ And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

4   And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

5   But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

6     ¶ And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? (He was wroth because he wanted God to accept worship in the way that he chose to worship, but God only has one provided place of worship, and one key that will open the door – so this is a type of the denominations of this day who refuse the truth of the word of God for this hour for the doctrines of man)

7   If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door.

**We see here that God is instructing Cain that if he submits to the word in humility, then he will be accepted – in other words, an entrance of the grace and acceptance of God would open to him, but if he rejects the council of God, then another door would be opened to him of where sin lieth – and so when Cain rejected to door of truth that God had offered to him, the door of sin opened and a spirit was released upon him and he murdered his brother Abel.

106     Many great people has knocked at doors, down through life. Now, a whole lot of it depends, after you go to the door, who it is knocking. You got to know who that is doing the knocking. But you should, at least, go to the door. That's the only decent thing to do, is find out who is there at the door. Go there, if somebody is knocking, say, "Who is it?" Open the door. "Who are you? What do you wish?" Oh, many--many, it might be some great person. What if it's a great person? It'd be a great honor to you, if you opened the door for somebody that was a great person.

So he is speaking here of the scripture in Revelation CH:3:20 because Christ is the greatest person that there could ever be – yet the denominations won’t open the door for him to come in.

REVELATION 3:20

20   Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

***So this is speaking of this age that we are living in now, and this is also the same period of time of when the Jews are back in their home land of the fig tree putting forth its buds as in our opening scripture in Mathew 24, and so we can be sure that this is one of the doors of this end time as spoken of Mathew 24.

***Remember that the same Holy Spirit that was performing the miracles of healings and discernments in brother Branham’s day is now bringing us into truth in this day, because the healing of the body only brings temporal healing to your temporal body, but the truth of the word brings you into an eternal relationship with God – the word revealed opens a door to Gods eternal day.

298-4   PHILADELPHIAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.8

It is to this age that Jesus says, 'I come QUICKLY' verse 11. That makes the last age a very short one. Laodicea is the age of the quick work. It is cut short.

Now we will specifically dwell on the OPEN DOOR that no man can shut. First of all I want to dwell on the open door as signifying the tremendous missionary effort of that age. Paul called a new missionary endeavor for the Lord an open door.

II Corinthians 2:12,

"Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's Gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord."

So we can see by the comparison of Scriptures that this open door signified the greatest spreading of the Gospel that the world has ever seen.

I want you to see something here. God works in threes, doesn't He? It was in the third or Pergamean Age that the church was married to the state. The deeds of the Nicolaitanes had become the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes. That age was the OPEN DOOR for the false vine. Once it was backed up by the power of the state it became actually a world system even though it bore the name, Christian. Thus it spread like wildfire. But now, three ages later, after a long and hard struggle of faith, here comes the OPEN DOOR to the truth.

We are living in the age of the OPEN DOOR to the truth.

JAMES 5:7-9

7   Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

8   Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

9   Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
