Comfort One Another with These Words

II CORINTHIANS 1:3-4 (read once all through first then repeat with comments)

3     ¶ Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; (comfort = Greek word “paraklesis” - persuasive discourse, stirring address – like a general would address an army before a battle)

4   Who comforteth (parakaleo = exhorting and comforting and encouraging, it also means to instruct, teach) us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort (encourage) them which are in any trouble, by the comfort (persuasive discourse) wherewith we ourselves are comforted (encouraged) of God.

I THESSALONIANS 4:16-18

16   For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17   Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18   Wherefore comfort (encourage) one another with these words.

Comfort One Another with These Words - last week “The Master is Come and Calleth for Thee” continue on from there.

Words are discourse, and people are encouraged by words, and different words are required to be used for different situations to bring comfort to people in whatever situation or trouble that they may be going through.

**You would speak differently to encourage someone who is sick as you would to someone who is worried about a job interview, you would use different words because different situations require different words to bring comfort for that situation.

Opening scripture:

I THESSALONIANS 4:16-18

16   For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout (we know that the shout was the message of Malachi 4), with the voice of the archangel (that’s the voice of the word that is in the bride that also resurrects the sleeping saints as it has resurrected us from denominational tombs), and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17   Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18   Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (Notice – this is a family affair)

**Paul is expressing to us that at this specific time when the rapture is to take place, that there was going to be specific words needed to encourage the bride at that time, a message would have to come forth, and it would require the words of this revelation of the shout, voice, and trump to bring comfort and encouragement to us in this time of trouble.

The God of all comfort had allocated a specific word and a specific revelation that He was going to bring in this age that would bring comfort to us in this age when all these events of the coming of the Lord and the rapture would be taking place.

He knew that the denominational words of past ages would not work in this age; they would not be able to bring the comfort to suffice the bride of this hour because the season of trouble that the world is in today is prophesied to be far greater than any other age.

The message for Luther’s day sufficed for his day. The message for Wesley’s day worked for that day. The Pentecostal message encourage them in their day, but their message would not be sufficient and have the strength of revelation to bring comfort to the bride in the time of trouble that has been prophesied for this age.

DANIEL 12:1a

1     ¶ And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time:

When things are going well, that is not the time that you need encouragement and support and comfort so much, but it is during the times of trouble and when things become difficult, and when there are enemies all around you that are trying to destroy you. That is when you need to hear words that will bring you peace and encouragement in the storm.

ACTS 27:29-37

29   Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day. (Notice – they were in a time of trouble)

30   And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,

31   Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

32   Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.

33   And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.

34   Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. (look at this specific word to bring comfort to them in this time of trouble – a message from God though the prophet for that season to bring comfort to a people in a troubled situation)

35   And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.

36   Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat.

37   And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.

Look at all the trouble that the world is in today because of sin. Look at all the trouble in the Middle East. Israel is under constant threat of war, and that threat is increasing, and so is the bride of Christ under increasing threat of spiritual warfare because what is happening to Israel nationally is also happening to the bride spiritually – Israel and the bride parallel together.

In the message “The Rapture” (4th December 1965) the opening scripture that the Holy Spirit directed Brother Branham to read was Psalms 27:1-5.

THE.RAPTURE_ YUMA.AZ V-5 N-14 SATURDAY_ 65-1204

27 … And I want to speak on the subject of: The Rapture. See?

28   Now, we believe that there will be a Rapture. All Christians believe that, that's Bible readers, believes that there will be a Rapture.

29     And now to read for some background, we read the 25th Psalm. I mean... I beg your pardon. The 27th Psalm, 1 to 5 verses.

PSALM 27:1-5

1     ¶ A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2   When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

3   Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. (There was something that David in this time of trouble and war had found encouragement and comfort and confidence in.

**We know that Noah also had a place of safety and comfort in the time of trouble in the day that he lived in, and it is promised that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the COMING of the son of man when the son of man is being revealed to his bride by the opening of the seven seals.)

4   One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. (Where is the house of the Lord in this day, it is the household of faith of where the revelation of his word dwells in the heart of his elect)

5   For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

The secret place of his tabernacle is the revelation of the word for the hour in the heart of man, that is where God dwells, and that is his final resting place, and that is where he brings us comfort. It is the rock of revelation that he has placed within our hearts in this hour – it is the revelation of Himself, because he is the mighty tower that we run into and are safe.

GALATIANS 6:10

10   As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

AS.I.WAS.WITH.MOSES.SO.I.WILL.BE.WITH.THEE_ JEFF.IN V-16 N-2 SUNDAY_ 60-0911M

118   Oh, brethren, if there ever was a time we ought to get our loved ones in the house, it's today, the household of faith. Get them in, for the time's coming when there's coming a shaking. Only, our fathers and mothers, and brothers and sisters, are only safe in the house, 'cause God's power's going to shake the country again. It is. And only the household of faith will be saved.

There was a place of safety and comfort from the judgment in Rahab’s day, and that was in her house.

JOSHUA 2:18-21

18   Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.

19   And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.

20   And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

21   And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.

In the time of war and judgement and fear, God has always provided a place of safety under the token in the household of faith.

EXODUS 12:12-13

12   For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

13   And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

The token for that day came by the message of the hour by the prophet Moses, and in order to apply the token they had to apply what the message had told them to do, they had to come into obedience to the message of the hour that God had sent in that judgement season when God himself was going to come down and execute judgement.

EXODUS 12:23

23   For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

So the Holy Spirit directed Brother Branham to read the 27th Psalm in his opening scripture because David had found a secret hiding place that he could hide in that time of trouble and war, and that is what gave him a peace in his heart – that was what brought comfort to him.

In Noah’s day, the believers were comforted by the revelation of the word of that hour, knowing that the message that had come from God through his prophet Noah had provided them a place of safety in the form of the ark.

LUKE 17:26-30

26   And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27   They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

     28   Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29   But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30   Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

And so we know that the message of this day has taken on the form of the bride (we have developed from Shout to Voice, from the message just being on the books and on the tapes, to now being in a people by revelation) – so now the bride is comforting one another by the words of the revelation of the shout and the voice and the trump which is the coming of the Lord - the seventh seal.

***So it is this Seventh Seal revelation that is the only thing that will bring comfort to the bride in this hour.

IT.IS.THE.RISING.OF.THE.SUN_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-12 SUNDAY_ 65-0418M

93     Now, Who is the Son of man? "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us." And if all the teaching that we have, and confirmation of the Word of God; by Word of God, by signs, by wonders, we see today, that in the Book of--of Luke here, that as we just quoted from, or the--the Luke the 17th chapter and the 30th verse; and Malachi 4, and the different Scriptures that we are acquainted with, that that Word again is waved over the people, that the dead traditions of man is dead, and the Son of God is alive again with the baptism of the Holy Spirit right among us, and is giving us Life.

94     As Christ was the first One to raise, from all the prophets, and so forth; although typed in many places, He was the Firstfruits of those that slept. In the Bride, coming of Christ, coming out of the church, there'll have to be a Sheaf waved again in the last days. Oh, my!

95   Waving of the sheaf! What was the sheaf? The first one that come to mature, the first one that proved it was a wheat, that proved it was a sheaf.

96   Hallelujah! I'm sure you see what I'm talking about. It was waved over the people. And the first time there will come forth, for the Bride age, for a resurrection out of dark denominationalism, will be a Message (Remember that the shout was the message that called us out of dark denominational tombs of man’s teachings and traditions), that the full maturity of the Word has turned back again in Its full Power, and being waved over the people, by the same signs and wonders that He did back there. (In this age we have seen the power of God in the demonstration of the third pull in one man - in the ministry of William Branham, and that ministry was waved over and acted out before us for the purpose that we could see what a mature son of God looks like, and to show us what we are also to come into this same level of maturity because he was a first fruit of us that were to follow)

97     "Because I live, ye live also," speaking to His Wife. "Because I live, ye live also." What a resurrection that that was! And what a resurrection this is, to be quickened from the dead, "to be made alive in Christ Jesus," by God's quickening Power.

JOHN 11:17-20

17     ¶ Then when Jesus came, he found that he (Lazarus) had lain in the grave four days already.

18   Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:

19   And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. (This was a denominational word level of comfort – all they could say was “one day when the Lord comes he will rise again” that was the limit of the words of their comfort and revelation – But Jesus wanted to bring them into a level and word of comfort that would bring them true peace in this time of trouble because he was the God of all comfort)

20   Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.

Remember – the message that “Jesus was coming” didn’t cause Mary to rise out of her dark denominational tomb.

JOHN 11:25-29

25   Jesus said unto her (Martha), I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26   And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Martha was thinking of the resurrection as an event, but Jesus was trying to show her that the resurrection is a person and not just an event – He himself was the resurrection and life - He had to pull Martha out of that realm of her denominational thinking and into the vision for the event that was taking place right then.

27   She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

28   And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee. (Not the master is coming, but the master IS COME – look at how her revelation had changed from “the master is coming” to “the master is come” – she had a seventh seal revelation.)

29   As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.

***Martha has a revelation of the coming of the Lord - the Seventh Seal, she had already met Him in the only provided place of worship, and He had begun to unfold the program of God to her for that hour in order to bring her into the vision and faith of the current event of what was happening in the present tense.

But Mary had only heard that Jesus was coming, and that level of word didn’t bring her out of her condition and cause her to be resurrected.

But now Martha has a revelation of the coming of the Lord, and so Martha didn’t say “Jesus is coming” anymore, she said “The Master is come” “The Master is here now and is calling for you.She was declaring to Mary her Seventh Seal revelation that the Master is here now – this was the words that began to bring true comfort to Mary.

And so now the testimony of Martha’s revelation causes Mary to rise up from among the mourners and come herself into the presence of the Lord because this is a type of this day when the Son of Man must first gather the living Bride family to himself by the shout of the message before the sleeping saints are raised from the dead – shout, voice, and trump.

JOHN 14:16-20

     16   And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17   Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18     ¶ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19   Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20   At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Comfort One Another with These Words

The revelation of this mystery that is revealed to the bride in this hour brings you into a level of comfort that is far greater than anything else. To know that by the grace of God and by the revelation of the hour that you are already caught up into this rapture cycle of the shout, voice, and trump, and that the ark of this hour is about to carry you over into the new earth.

THE.RAPTURE_ YUMA.AZ V-5 N-14 SATURDAY_ 65-1204

65     But, to the Church, the Bride, the Rapture is a revelation to Her. It's revealed to Her. That, the revelation, the true Bride of Christ will be waiting for that revelation of the Rapture.

66   Now, it is a revelation, for the revelation is faith. You cannot have a revelation without it being faith. Faith is a revelation, because it's something that's revealed to you. Faith is a revelation. Faith is something that has been revealed to you, like it was to Abraham, that could call anything contrary to what had been revealed to him, as though it wasn't so. Now, faith, that's what faith is, is the revelation of God. The Church is built upon a revelation, the whole entire Body.
