The Judgement was Set and the Books were Opened

REVELATION 20:4-6

4   And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them (a throne is a position of authority to be able to judge): and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus (Christians), and for the word of God (Jews – 144,000), and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (These three categories will be with Christ in the Millennium, the bride, the sleeping saints, and the 144,000 Jews)

5   But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6   Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

DANIEL 7:9-10 (this portion of scripture is describing the second resurrection after the millennium).

Notice - The first resurrection takes place at the end of the seventh church age when the church ages have run out, the second resurrection takes place at the end of the seventh day of the seven thousand years when the millennium has run out.

9     ¶ I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

10   A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

The Judgement was Set and the Books were Opened

The opening of Books refers to the secrets of men being revealed. Just like in this age we have had the opening of the word by the revelation of the seven seals which fully revealed the secret of the entire bible and made know to us the secret that God had kept in the back part of his mind since the foundation of the world.

We know that we are living right now in the season and time of the resurrection from among the dead of when the dead in Christ are promised to rise in this hour at the end of the seventh church age, so this scripture of REVELATION 20:4-6 applies directly to us at this time now.

REVELATION 20:4-6

4   And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them (it was a time when judgment was given unto them – the bride, that is why this message is what is judging us in this hour, we are having our judgement time now under this revealed word because judgement begins at the house of God I PETER 4:17

17   For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?): and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The 1000 years is the millennium – so all these ones must have had their names revealed and called from among the dead in order to be raised up to live in the millennium)

5   But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished (that will be at the second resurrection we all will hear the voice of God call them – remember that if you are not raised up by the voice of the word of the message of this hour, then you will be raised by the voice of God at the great white throne judgement – either way you will be raised by the hearing the voice of God). This is the first resurrection.

Last week scripture: from Message “Qualifying for the Resurrection From Among the Dead”.

JOHN 5:25

25   Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. There was a resurrection of the Old Testament saints at the end of the Son of Man ministry of that hour, and it is also promised that at the end of this Son of Man ministry in our day that there will also be a people that would hear their names called by an end time message and be raised up from among the dead – we which are alive and remain would not hinder those who are asleep.

Last week – We saw that the pattern in the bible shows us that resurrection and separation and judgement are associated together.

Noah and his group were raised up in their day by hearing a prophet’s voice which was the message of that hour, then they were separated in the ark when God closed the door, and it was also a time of judgement for the world.

Abraham and Sarah were raised back young again, and they were living separated lives from Lot and the Sodom group, and it was at that time that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed under judgement.

Rahab the Harlot rose up at the same time Jericho was under judgement, she heard the message of the hour and it raised her up out of her condition and she was separated under the token with her loved ones.

*This is always the pattern at judgement time, a resurrection, a separation, and a judgement.

***So at the end of the seven thousand years (at the second or general resurrection) all that were not a part of the first resurrection from among the dead are raised up at that time and separated into two groups and then judged – some to life, and some to death.

So we know that this is also a type of this age that we are living in, because we are living after the end of the seventh church age, and this is also a time of a resurrection, and we have also been raised up from dead denominational tombs of man-made creeds and dogma, and so we have also entered into a judgement time in this hour because we are standing our judgement right now by the word of this age, and so that is why we will not be judged at the great white throne judgement at the second resurrection because we have already been judged now and have received mercy by accepting the word for this hour.

Opening scripture:

REVELATION 20:4

4   And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

**Notice how it is describing the categories of those that will qualify in this first resurrection and go into the millennium, because the first resurrection is a time of Judgement where these groups are being identified by the opening of the word by the revelation of the seven seals which opened of the Lambs book of life section of the book of life to reveal the names of the bride and to call their names, but in identifying the bride it also identifies everything outside of these categories that will not go into the millennium but will be raised up at the end of the thousand years when the seventh day has run out at the end of the millennium – this is the second resurrection where some will go into life and others will go into the lake of fire just as it is at this time under this end time resurrection where some will go in the rapture and some will go into the tribulation period.

ABRAHAM_ LONG.BEACH.CA SATURDAY_ 61-0211

E-41   Now, remember, there is three classes always at the judgment. We find out the Bride comes back with Christ, in Daniel. Ten thousands times ten thousands came with the Ancient of days. The judgment was set, and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which was the Book of Life. See, the sleeping virgin come up for the judgment. And a book of the ungodly was opened, and He separated the sheep from the goats, but the raptured church come back with Him.

Jesus comes three times. He came first to redeem His Bride. He comes the second time to catch Her away. He comes the third time with Her: To redeem His Bride, to receive His Bride, and to bring Him and His Bride back as King and Queen over the earth, set on His father David's throne.

MATTHEW 24:35-41

35   Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36   But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Most people stop there at the end of the 6th seal, but the bible continues on into the seventh seal)

37   But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38   For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39   And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (in other words, the coming of the Lord and the judgement hour will be a secret to the world, but it wasn’t a secret to Noah, and neither will it be a secret to the true bride of this end time age)

40   Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (When? At the time of the first resurrection which is this time now – two groups that are being separated and assigned to two separate locations)

41   Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Let’s parallel this with the second resurrection at the great white throne.

MATTHEW 25:31-46 is describing the second resurrection but it is also a type of the first resurrection.

31     ¶ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32   And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33   And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34   Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35   For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36   Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37   Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38   When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39   Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40   And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41   Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42   For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43   I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44   Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45   Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46   And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

276-1   SARDISEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.7

The question now arises, why are these righteous ones in the judgment? There is no other place that they can come up, for there are but two resurrections and since they could not qualify for the first resurrection they must come up in the second which is a resurrection unto judgment. The ones who qualify for the first resurrection (the bride) are not in the judgment. John 5:24, "Verily, verily I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life (that is, the believer is already the recipient of eternal life which he has in his possession now) and shall not come into condemnation (shall not come into the judgment, is what it really says) but is passed (permanently) from death unto life." But notice carefully, Jesus must have yet another group in mind who at a certain resurrection will receive eternal life. They will receive it at the resurrection, NOT HAVING PREVIOUSLY RECEIVED IT AS A MEMBER OF THE BRIDE.

John 5:28-29,

"Marvel not at this, for the hour is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear His voice,

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."

Now we all know that John 5:28-29 is NOT THE RAPTURE for only the dead in Christ will arise from the graves at that time along with the living bride who still is on the earth.

I Thessalonians 4:16-17,

"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

But it says in John 5:28-29 that ALL are going to come forth from the grave. This is the very same resurrection that is spoken of in Revelation 20:11-15 wherein THE DEAD were brought before the Lord and judged according to their works, and all whose names were not in the Book of Life were then cast into the lake of fire.

We now face the question as to why they should be given eternal life at the judgment since the Epistles seem to conclusively point out that one must possess the Spirit of Christ or perish. Though it seems thus, we must not discredit the words of Jesus Who most pointedly sets forth that there are some found in the Book of Life who will either receive eternal life before the general resurrection or after it.

Paul does not evade this truth for he most clearly says in Philippians 3:11,

"If by any means I might attain to the resurrection of the dead."

Now this statement is most peculiar. We all know that we are ALL going to be in a resurrection whether we want to be or not. All will be resurrected. So Paul could hardly be saying, "If by ANY MEANS I might attain to a resurrection of the dead." The truth of the matter is, he is not saying that. The literal reading is, "If by any means I might attain to the 'out-resurrection' from among the dead." This is not the attaining to the general or second resurrection, but attaining to the first resurrection, of which is said, "Blessed and Holy is he who hath part in the first resurrection, on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with Him a thousand years." The first resurrection has nothing to do with the second death. That is at the end of the thousand years when ALL THE REST of the dead live again. And in that day there will be those who come forth to eternal life and those others who are caught in the second death. Now we do not need to guess about those who in the second resurrection are given life. We are told it is given to them on the grounds that they have been kind and good to the "Brethren". Those who are raised and cast into the lake of fire will be so treated because of their mistreatment of the "Brethren". Since this is the Word of God we simply accept it. There is no argument here, just a simple statement of fact.

Notice – their judgement and category was revealed by what they expressed on earth in their lives and attitude toward the saints who were the word in their age. It was how they related to them who were a part of the bride that revealed their category, and so it is in this hour – it is your attitude and actions in relation to the revealed word of this hour that categorised the people today that have been raised up under this message resurrection today.

**At the great white throne it was there attitude to the ones who were the word for their age, but in this resurrection at this time it is their attitude to the word itself.

And look what is prophesied to be the attitude of the people at this end time age in all the parables referring to the event of opening of the word in this hour.

LUKE 14:16-20

16   Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many (what was the great SUPPER? – the opening of the word that has given us access to eat from the tree of life again – a great supper at the evening time age):

17   And sent his servant (one servant – not two or three or 8th or 9th prophet’s) at supper time to say to them that were bidden (Notice - these are all message believers that had heard the invitation to come and dine), Come; for all things are now ready.

18   And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

19   And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

20   And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

There is nothing wrong with land and cows and getting married, but it was their value that they place on those things, that was greater to them than the great supper – it was their attitude and the value that they place on the revealed word.

So we see that in this hour these things are being live out among the people that claim to be believers of this message – you can hardly get some to come to church anymore.

LUKE 14:23-24

23   And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

24   For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. (They never truly received the revelation of the word)

Resurrection, and separation, and judgment always go together.

When we were raised up out of the dead creeds of man, then we were also separated from the denominations, and then we were judged by the word of the message of the hour – God never changes his pattern of doing things.

THE.SECOND.SEAL_ JEFF.IN TUESDAY_ 63-0319

195-3 {138}   Look what it did the first time it fell. Well, if God acted like that the first time, He's got to act like that the second time. He's got to act like that every time, or He acted wrong the first time. See, we as mortals, we can make mistakes. God can't. God's first decision is perfect. And the way He chose to do things, there can't be no other better way. He can't improve on it, because it's perfect to begin with. If it isn't, then He isn't infinite.

When God does something, he cannot improve on the pattern of the way he does it, and so we see that this pattern of the future of the great white throne judgement is also happening now in this day under this message because this is when the judge himself with the white wig has come down to bring judgement upon the entire world because this is the great day of His vengeance, and so before he can put a soul in prison he must first have a court trial and an indictmentand so that is why the judge himself is present now in this hour just like when he came to Abraham just before the judgement of Sodom and Gomorrah.

And so our attitude and conduct towards this end time word reveals what category we are – we are living out our category as foretold of in the bible.

A prophet’s message is always mercy to those who receive it and obey it, and judgement to those who reject it.

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.ON.GENESIS_ JEFF.IN COD WEDNESDAY_ 53-0729

55-272 …Now, look, look here. The Bible said, "Judgment was set, and the Books were opened." Is that right? Books of sinners. "And another Book was opened," which is the Book of Life, and every man was judged thus. Is that right? And who was doing the judging? Jesus and the saints. He said, "He came and ministered unto the Ancient of Days Whose hair is like wool."

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.1_ JEFF.IN COD SUNDAY_ 54-0103M

74-97 …."He came to Him," in Daniel, "Whose hair was white as wool (like you see Him in Revelations 1), to the Ancient of time. And the judgment was set and the Books were opened. Books (plural) was opened and every man was judged out of the Books, the things was written therein." Look, the Books were opened, "He saw Him coming, and ten thousands times ten thousands ministered to Him," saints come with Him. Is that right, in Daniel? "And the Books were opened," that's the Book of your life, "and every man--and every man was judged thus, the sinner, judged thus. And another Book was opened," which was the Book of Life, "and every man was judged."

The Judgement was Set and the Books were Opened

Has there been the opening of the book in this hour?

Not only has the sealed book been opened in this hour, but the “books” have also been opened – people’s attitudes and lives are revealing their categories in relation to the promised word of this hour.

We are living in a time of mercy and judgement
