Resurrection by Light

Duration:1 hr 47 mins 29 secs

Resurrection by Light

GENESIS 1:1-3

1     ¶ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (This is the big question that man has spent countless years and billions of dollars trying to figure out, of how the world came into existence – and yet the bible answers that question with just 10 words)

2   And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. (Sometimes our lives will come to a place where it will look like darkness has set in also. And so we want to see what the solution to this problem, because whatever that solution was back then would also be the same answer for our lives of what would take the gloom and darkness away from us) And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3     ¶ And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Notice - two things that transformed a chaotic world of disorder and darkness into a beautiful paradise of joy and abundant life. It was the spirit of God moving, and the revealing of light, because light brings resurrection and life with it.

When the season changes from winter and into spring, it is the increase of the strength of the sunlight that brings resurrection to a barren winter land.

SONG OF SOLOMON 2:10-12

10   My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

     11   For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;

12   The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle (the turtledove) is heard in our land; (The turtledove is a migratory bird that returns to Israel in early spring, and of which the sound of its cooing is a dign that winter is passed.

We find the same thing when Noah was between the two worlds just after the flood of the old world but before the new world had appeared - it was the dove with the olive leaf in its mouth that was the sign to Noah that the judgement had passed, and that He would soon be entering into the new world.

**And right now we are also living in the days of the voice of the seventh angel at the time of the judgment of the old world but before the appearing of the new world of the millennium.

And so we have also heard the voice of the turtledove in our generation (the voice of the Holy Spirit through the message of the hour), and this has been a sign to us that the winter has passed, and that it’s the time for the resurrection to happen – of a gentile elected bride people to be raised up after a long and weary winter time of 2000 years of seven church ages.

ZECHARIAH 14:6-7

6   And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: (Light mixed with darkness, Truth mixed with lies – Half truths, fake pictures, fake video’s, fake news articles, everyone’s getting scammed. A time of when people wouldn’t know what truth is anymore - of when the light would not be clear, nor dark)

7   But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

*Light is required for the resurrection of life, and the greater the strength of the light, the greater the resurrection.

Resurrection by Light

*Easter is the time of when we call our focus to the remembrance of the greatest event of all events – and that is the event of the resurrection.

*The resurrection of the Lord Jesus was by far the greatest event that has ever happen in the world, because since the fall in Eden, the greatest suffering of man has been the suffering of separation and death and the grave, and so therefore the greatest victory would be the resurrection from death, and the re-joining of parted loved ones that would be united again forevermore – to live forever together in joy and peace and eternal life of what God had always intended.

*And so this is what Easter is all about, and this is Easter Sunday, of when we want to focus our attention on this subject of the resurrection.

*And so I felt that I would like to preach a little Easter message of something that would encourage us and bring us into a greater assurance and a greater rest at this time of when we are living in a world of where there is so much darkness and unrest and uncertainty, and to help us see a clearer reality of our hope for the future of our lives and of the great things that God has promised of what He has in store for our future.

God has bigger plans for you then you have for you.

**We know by the promise of the word of God to us (of which it is impossible for the word of God to fail to come to pass,) that there is a great day coming of when all the wrongs of our lives will all be made right, and of when we will all be united again with our loved ones forever in that great future kingdom of heaven that is to come of what Jesus spoke about so much.

**And so we want to look at this subject of the “Resurrection by Light”, and we want to show this a little bit through the story of the life of Ruth.

**Because Ruth had come to a place in her life (like many of us do at times) of when her personal world had come into a lot of darkness and uncertainly, just like how we saw that the condition of the earth was in before the spirit of God had moved upon it and God had spoken His light to shine upon it.

TURN.ON.THE.LIGHT_ PHOENIX.AZ V-22 N-3 SATURDAY_ 64-0125

20     The sun is the king of all lights on this earth, in the natural lights. No matter how much artificial light that we can have, and how many great electric rays we can produce; when that sun rises, all the rest of them dim out.

21   That's the same thing it is with the Word of God. When the Word of God rises, all superstitions, denominational fanaticisms and things, spread away, and it shows it just exactly what it is. God, in the beginning, said, "Let there be light." The Light only comes, the true Light, the king Light, comes by the Word of God. God separated the light from the darkness, in the beginning. And the Word of God, made manifest, always separates the Light from the darkness.

23     And we know that in the beginning it must have been foggy and dismal and dark, as the world was turning, and when God knowed that He had a need of light. Now, His seed was already in the earth, because He had planted it there. Now He needed light to bring forth that seed, to make that seed live, because the seed was already there.

24   Just like it is in each age, God has foretold us what would take place in each age. The only thing He needs is the manifestation of the Light of God upon that Scripture, to make it live for that age. Just...?... And it will do it as long as the Light can get to the Word. If the Word is germitized, It'll make it live if it's a promise for that day.

30     No life can come outside of light. Light produces; light produces life. There can be no life--life outside of light, natural or spiritual. There must be.

31   And only Light can come by the Word of God. God's Word is the Light when It's manifested. It's just a Seed laying here, as God planted all the seeds.

32   Our bodies was on the earth before the... well, well, before there was any light here, any life here, or anything; the calcium, potash, petroleum, and cosmic light, whatever, it was here--was here when God created the earth. It only taken His spoken Word to bring it into existence, just like it did botany life, or tree life, what, or whatever life there is to be.

33     Nothing can live, natural or spiritual, without His Light, and His Word is Light and Life.

JOHN 1:6-9

6   There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7   The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

(There is a channel that give you access to absolute truth – and that channel isn’t google search bar, but that channel is a person (Christ – the word of God – the fountain of all light and knowledge).

Because when you boil your life down to a single point, then you will find that right at the very inner core of you, of what you really are, is that you are your beliefs and doubts. Because it is faith and doubt that is at the very centre and core of your spirit – of what we call the soul.

And it is out of these doubts and beliefs that motivates our lives and influence everything that we do in life – the decisions that we make and the paths that we take.

*And because there is such a vast range of opposing beliefs in the world of humanity (especially in these last days), then this is what makes people so different in the ways that they live, and if we would think about this a little deeper, then we would realise that this is proof that human beings are very easily reasoned into believing things that aren’t true, and this is also supported by the fact of how we find that so many human beings are very easily taken in and deceived by things.

And so this is why you must never put your trust in your own human reasoning, because as the bible tells us in Proverbs 14:12 that - there is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.)

8   He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9   That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

**The true light was a person, and so absolute truth comes to us exclusively through the channel of this one person, and that person is Christ Jesus, the light of the world. He is the source and fountain of all knowledge and truth that brings truth and light into every man.

**If we would look a little deeper into the story of Ruth, we will see that Boaz was the man of which light came into Ruth’s life by – it was Boaz that spoke words of light and life into the darkness of Ruth’s life of which brought about a resurrection in her life.

*Because part of the responsibility of a kinsman redeemer was to raise up the name of the dead– to bring a resurrection, because that is what was required of a kinsman as a part of the redemptive process.

RUTH 4:5

5   Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Elimelech’s family “race” was dead and had lost their inheratance - just like Adam’s fallen race was locked into a cycle of perpetual death, but Boaz (the kinsman redeemer) had the power and the willingness to raise up Elimelech’s family from the dead just as Christ was also willing and had the power to raise up Adam’s fallen race from the dead by paying the price of our redemption by His death on the cross.

* The bible tells us that at evening time is shall be light, and so the way you cause life to come forth and a resurrection to take place is by the dispelling of darkness by the shining of light – and the revealed word of God is light.

**And this is why we find that in the story of Ruth, that it was at evening time, and at the time of the midnight hour of when the greatest darkness had existed, and then that was the time of when Boaz had shone the greatest light into Ruth’s life by the revealing of his promise of redemption to her.

**It was by the sounding of his voice, and by the revealing of his words of his promise to her that brought light and hope into her darkened life – at evening time, it shall be light - Zechariah 14:7.

**Light had come to Ruth at the evening time of the darkest hour, and at a time of when her life had been so uncertain. And this is the condition of the world that we find ourselves in today.

The book of Ruth has only 4 short chapters, and each chapter equates to a greater progression of the story. Ruth Deciding, Ruth Serving, Ruth Resting, and Ruth Rewarded

Chapter 1 is Ruth deciding – of when she decides to follow the God of Naomi.

Chapter 2 is Ruth Serving – of when she is serving in Boaz’s field.

Chapter 3 is Ruth Resting – of where she is resting in the assurance of her redemption and,

Chapter 4 is Ruth being rewarded by her marriage to Boaz and by the inheritance and offspring that she receives with her new life.

RUTH 1:1-5

1     ¶ Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

2   And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there. (Elimelech and his family leaving Bethlehem was a parallel of Adam and his family leaving Eden. In fact there are many parallels between Adam and Elimelech.

Adam left Eden – Elimelech leaves Bethlehem.

Adam had two sons, and Elimelech also had two sons.

Death sets in to Adam’s family and race – death sets in to Elimelech’s family and offspring)

3   And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons. (**Elimelech’s death represented Adam’s death – and so we see a death and burial right here at the beginning of the book of Ruth, because later on will see that Boaz was the second Elimelech in type just as Jesus was the second Adam, because the entire bible is the mystery of redemption - of death, burial, and then resurrection)

4   And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

5   And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.

*Ruth had come to a place of when darkness had covered over her life, of when the warmth of the sunlight of the joy of life had ceased to shine and a cold darkness had fallen upon the face of the waters of her earth just like we saw in Genesis 1.

*This darkness is like the darkness of a grave – of the sadness that we feel at the death of a loved one - of that overwhelming feeling of sorrow and loss and emptiness, and this was the place in life that Ruth had found herself in. *Because all of the dreams that she had imagined about her life, of being married and happy and children and white picketed fences and flower strewn pathways - it had all come to naught of what seemed to be utter darkness and loss.

*And this was also the condition that we find that Jesus followers were in also after the death and burial of Jesus. It seemed like that all their hopes of the great things that they had longed for and believed in had all come to a dark and abrupt end.

**And the truth is, that God will at times allow our lives to come into this same place also.

MARK 16:1-2

1     ¶ And when the sabbath was past (the sabbath began at 6 o’clock Friday evening and ended at 6 o’clock Saturday evening), Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

2   And very early in the morning the first day of the week (Sunday morning), they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

And so the bible is placing details in here that are important for us to notice – because as the natural sun rose that Easter morning, there was also another resurrection that had taken place – two risings, a duel rising.

The rising of the SUN of a new morning that brings light and life to the entire natural world of botany and animal life, and then the rising of the SON of God that brings the light of eternal life to an entire world of humanity.

RUTH 3:8-18

8   And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.

9   And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman.

10   And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.

11   And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.

12   And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.

13   Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman's part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.

14     ¶ And she lay at his feet until the morning (The morning is when the sun begins to rise – and that was when Ruth rose up also to her new life – a duel sunrising, just as Christ resurrection was at the rising of the sun also, and there has also been a SON rise in this day – it IS the rising of the Sun again): and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor. (Boaz wanted all of this to remain a total secret. We remember how that He had first met with her in the field after he had been introduced to her by the head reaper – a type of the end time ministry of this hour at this harvest time – but there was another stage)

15   Also he said, Bring the vail that thou hast upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her: and she went into the city. (Notice - 6 measures, because Boaz himself was the 7th measure – and there is your seventh seal again. Because the seventh seal in the book of Ruth was Boaz himself, of him giving himself to her by an invisible union of his promise to her.

His promise of redemption to her was the marriage, and that is why in this hour, the marriage of the Lamb is come because of the revealing of the promised light of the word of Christ by the message of the hour to an end time gentile people at this midnight time)

16   And when she came to her mother in law, she said, Who art thou, my daughter? (In other words - "Art thou Boaz's betrothed?") And she told her all that the man had done to her.

17   And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law.

18   Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.

Notice - Ruth entered into rest, while Boaz came out of rest in order to fulfil and complete his work as her kinsman redeemer.

IT.IS.THE.RISING.OF.THE.SUN_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-12 SUNDAY_ 65-0418M

37     Now, the sun, at the rising of the sun. Well, there was a time when the world was laying in utter darkness. It was without form, and was void. And it was all covered with water, and was laying there in the dark, dismal, gloomy atmosphere. And the Spirit of God moved upon that water, and said, "Let there be light." God had a reason to do that, for down beneath that water there was seeds that He had planted, and it had to have that sunlight to make it live.

38     And the first Light was ever given in the earth was God's spoken Word. The first Light that ever struck the earth was God's spoken Word. He said, "Let there be light," and there was light. That turned darkness into light, in order to bring forth a creation of joy and life upon the earth.

**Joy and resurrection and life followed the voice of the turtledove that had sounded and declared that winter had passed – and for humanity, that winter time has been the winter time of all the troubles and sorrows of the past 6000 years of sin and the perpetual death of humanity.

And this is what Ruth had had up to that time of her life - the death of her father-in-law, the death of her husband, and the uncertainly of her future life and security.

*But in the days of the sounding of Boaz’s voice, at the time of the midnight hour, it was then that peace and comfort and security and rest came into Ruth’s life - when? At the time of when the sun was about to rise upon a new day.

And that new day signalled the beginning of a brand-new life for Ruth under Boaz’s care from that time on and forevermore.

**We have also heard the voice of Boaz at this midnight time of when the world is in its most intense midnight period of darkness.

And that Voice that we have heard in this day is the Voice of Christ that has spoken the promise of redemption to us, of a bright and glorious future that is soon to be realised to us in all of its reality.

**Ruth was resurrected out of all the darkness of her life and circumstances by the revealing of the light of the revelation of redemption that came to her by the voice of Boaz.

SONG OF SOLOMON 2:10-12

10   My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

     11   For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;

     12   The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

Resurrection by Light…

***There has been a great SON light of truth that has risen up in this hour, and that truth has been shining brightly upon us for many years now – and it’s the voice of the turtledove telling us that the winter has now passed, and that the singing of the birds is come, and that the resurrection will soon appear and be fully realised to us.

*And so our response to all of this is that we are required to climb higher in our faith of the promises of what God has made to us in this hour, because it’s a lack of faith that brings a lack of rest, and so we all need to enter into a greater rest in our lives, and we do that by the knowledge and confidence of what has been revealed to us in this hour though the message that God has sent - of how that we know that our future is secured according to the promise of redemption of what our Boaz (Christ) has revealed to us by the sounding of His voice in this day.
