Neither Do I Condemn Thee

JOHN 5:24

     24   Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation (condemnation = Greek word “krisis” meaning “judgment”, like a tribunal, or court, the place or process of rendering a verdict for good or ill. There is a judgement that takes place at the great white throne judgment at the second resurrection); but is passed from death unto life.

JOHN 8:8-12

     8   And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. (Writing is conveying words without speaking)

     9   And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. (Notice that while he was writing on the ground, her accusers were leaving – and so when he lifts himself up, all this woman’s accusers where gone)

     10   When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

     11   She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. (Notice - she never came into the judgement like what was written in the law of Moses, because where there are no accusers, there is no judgement)

     12     ¶ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

So when we are following the Lord by walking in the light for the age, then we have the light of life.

Neither Do I Condemn Thee

This woman in our opening scripture that was caught in the act of sin had a very good reason to feel condemned, and because of the law of Moses, her accusers had a good legal reason to condemn her – but we find that when she met the judge of all the earth (Christ), by meeting him she does not come into the judgement of what the law of Moses has clearly spoken about such a case, but she passes from death unto life. So the secret of what saved her was because she met Christ the word for that hour.

JOHN 3:17-18

     17   For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (So the whole purpose of God is not to condemn us, but to bring us to full salvation and eternal life – and the secret of it is because that Christ took our judgement for us at Calvary, just as he took this woman’s judgment for her when he went to Calvary, that is why he was able to say “neither do I condemn thee”, because he would soon take her judgment upon himself in her place because he came to fulfil the law of God)

     18   He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

So if we are believers in Christ, then we can never come into judgement or condemnation, because he has already taken that judgement for us.

ROMANS 8:1

     1     ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

This word condemnation in the GREEK LEXICON is katakrima   {kat-ak'-ree-mah}   = damnatory sentence

Paraphrase this verse - “There is therefore now no damnatory sentence to them which are in Christ Jesus.

So if we will notice again in our opening story – the denominational men of that day (called the scribes and the Pharisees) tried to bring a damnatory sentence to this woman that was caught in the act of adultery, and we know that adultery is false union – and so we want to look at this story in a little more detail because it is a prophecy of this day concerning the bride of Christ, because we know that a woman in the bible always represents the church, true or false.

The bride woman always follows after the coming of the word.

- Eve came after the coming of Adam

- Rebecca came after the coming of Eliezer

- Ruth came into the field after the head reaper

- Sarah is turned back young after the coming of the Lord in human flesh

- Esther came after Mordechai

- Rahab came after Joshua

- The bride of this hour comes after the Elijah ministry

JOHN 8:1-12

     1     ¶ Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

     2   And early in the morning he came again into the temple (Notice - this was early in the morning at the breaking of a new day – we are also at the breaking of a new day of the bride age.

But, you see, we've changed dispensations from the old church age of back here where that dismal day was, just join church and put your name on the book; until the evening Light, the restoration, the return again of the Holy Spirit upon the earth; another Pentecost, another sign, another thing was to take place. And the people doesn't believe It, because they're so set like they was in the days of Jesus. See? He told of this day when He was here on earth. He come exactly according to Scripture, then He foretold of this day coming.)

, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

(Notice again, the gathering of the people unto him in the new day, and also notice that his ministry is a teaching ministry – that is why in this age the Holy Spirit is identified as being the “Teacher”, JOHN 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, he is the teacher who is teaching you the word after the gathering of the people in the morning of the new day)

     3   And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, (look at when these accusers are trying to bring their accusations – in the new day when he has gathered the people together, and he is now teaching the people)

     4   They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

     5   Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? (They were quoting the legal judgment for this crime under the Law of Moses)

     6   This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him (Not only were they wanting to accuse this woman, but they also wanted to accuse the Lord himself. The spirit of accusation is a spirit that is influenced from the devil, because he is the one that is the accuser of the brethren. That is why if we go around condemning each other all the time, then we can be certain that that is not the spirit of Christ). But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. (I’m so glad he is not very responsive when it comes to listening to the accusations of others about us)

     7   So when they continued asking him (the devil doesn’t give up easy), he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

     8   And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

Notice how that he continues with his writing in the sand. And we know that no detail is put in the scripture without a meaning, and if we will notice that this writing is a mysterious writing because the bible does not revealed to us what he wrote about, but we do know that these people that were accusing this woman (being scribes and Pharisees) could certainly have read the words that he was writing.

He wrote the ten Commandments with His finger, He wrote on the walls of Babylon with His finger, and here we see him stooping down and writing in the sand with His finger, so we can see from this that was something in that written word that also brought conviction to them just as he had done other two times when he wrote with his finger, and because they had also been quoting from the written word of Moses to bring condemnation to this woman, now he is writing things in the sand that maybe where condemning them by the written word also. But if you will notice, it wasn’t the written word of Moses that brought salvation to this woman, the law brought her judgment, but it was his spoken word of Christ for that hour that brought freedom to the woman – the written word condemned her, but the spoken word of the presentence Christ is what made her free to sin no more)

     9   And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Now there are just two people left – the Judge of all the earth, and the woman which represents the bride of this end time age – the denominations are now off the scene. So what was his sentence for her going to be now that he had done away with all of her accusers?

     10   When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

(If your accuses are all done away with – then there is no more case for judgement)

     11   She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. (condemn = katakrino in the Greek = to give judgement against, to judge worthy of punishment – in other words, “neither do I judge you worthy of punishment”)

     12     ¶ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Jesus is showing that life does not come by the law of condemnation, it comes by the light of the living word of the revealed Christ for your day, that is what brings salvation and true freedom from condemnation – The light of the revealed word of the hour has cast away all of our accusers.

That is why denominational teaching cannot put you in the bride in this hour – because it is not the Christ and light for this age – it takes the Christ for this age to dispel the accusers.

JOHN 8:10-11

     10   When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

     11   She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

He was the mercy seat himself – he was the person of the word.

There are many woman in the bible that came from backgrounds of ill fame – woman that had had many “husbands”.

- There was the woman at the well who had had 6 husbands

- There was Rahab the harlot, we don’t know how many “husbands” she had.

- Then there was the woman that washed Jesus feet at Simon’s house in Luke 7.

LUKE 7:36-50

     36     ¶ And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.

     37   And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment (There was a cost involved – there was a price she was prepaired to pay),

     38   And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

     39   Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

     40   And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

     41   There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

     42   And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

     43   Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

     44   And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house (this also applies to this hour, because when he came to the denominations of today in the form of the restored word, they never welcomed him, all their big hierarchies and head men rejected him and made fun of him), thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head (A woman of ill fame again, but in this story she is doing him a service while all the other denominations look on and bring accusations against her – so this is also revealing the bride of this hour again.

There are very few who are doing a service for the Lord in the revelation of the truth of this hour. Many people will wash everyone else’s feet as long as they are a part of their denomination, they’ll serve their boss, they’ll serve their creed and kiss the babies, but when it comes to doing God a service according to his will of the revealed word of this hour, then there are very few – and so you will only find it in and amongst the true bride.

And notice, that her sins which were many were all forgiven her – her service only revealed her faith of what she knew that he was the Christ.

***So a lack of service to the Lord is because of a lack of the revelation of Christ).

     45   Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. (A Kiss is to do with being greeted and welcomed)

     46   My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

     47   Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

     48   And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

(Look at all her accusers, and look who is silencing them, and then this same one that silenced her all of her accusers also forgive her “Neither Do I Condemn Thee”.

     49   And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?

     50   And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Her faith saved her because she had a revelation of Christ was for that day.

**Paraphrase that last verse - “Thy revelation of who I am hath saved thee..

- The revelation of who God was in the days of Noah is what saved Noah and his family

- The revelation of who God was in the days of Moses is what delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt.

So these two stories in the New Testament about both of these ill-famed woman are revealing the same outcome.

TAKING.SIDES.WITH.JESUS_ JEFF.IN COD FRIDAY_ 62-0601

782-186   …Take sides with Him; do Him a service; do something for Him. You know what I mean, brethren? Take your side with Jesus. Take Him--make Him your choice. Do service for Him regardless of whether anybody else, or you're ever repaid or anything. Don't make any difference. Wait till the work's over.

How would you like for Him to say... Even though you'd prayed for sick and they didn't get well, though you prayed to get to speak with tongues, and you didn't do it, you prayed to prophesy, you didn't do it; but yet, the only thing you can do is tell the story of Jesus in your church, or in your community, at your work. You couldn't even do one thing, didn't lead one person. That woman didn't lead one to Christ, but she done a service for Him. And what difference does it make at the end of the road, if He'll say, "And I say unto you, all your sins... Though maybe not one prayer was answered for you, but you come on the basis of My Word. You come because you believed Me, and you did Me a service. And I say that the many sins that you have done is all forgiven you." That would be good enough for me. Amen. Yes, sir.

Rahab the harlot also did a service for the Lord because of her faith in the God of Israel, and we also see all of her accusers cast down.

JOSHUA 2:1-21

     1     ¶ And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

     2   And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.

     3   And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.

     4   And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

     5   And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.

     6   But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.

     7   And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.

     8     ¶ And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;

     9   And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

     10   For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

     11   And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

     12   Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:

     13   And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.

     14   And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

     15   Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.

     16   And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.

     17   And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.

     18   Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.

     19   And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.

     20   And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

     21   And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.

Notice that this is taking place just before the judgement time. She has confessed her belief in the true God of Israel, she has done a service to God, she has the token on display, but her accusers of her being a harlot have not yet been cast down.

JOSHUA 6:17

     17     ¶ And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

JOSHUA 6:23-25

     23   And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.

     24   And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.

     25   And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

MATTHEW 1:5

     5   And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

Salmon married Rahab

Notice that in the Old Testament she is referred to as Rahab the harlot, but in the New Testament she is just Rahab – she is not Rahab the harlot anymore.

And when the marriage ceremony was performed between Salmon and Rahab, and the minister asked if there was any reason why these two should not be lawfully married to please declare it now or forever hold your peace – all of her accusers had already been cast down, and neither did Salmon condemn her.

E-13   Jesus expressed it well when He found the prostitute, drug before Him guilty of an adultery. And they drug her before Him, and said, "Now, the law requires for her to die. What do You say do about it?"

I tell you, He showed Himself what He was when He turned with these words, "Neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more." What more love could be than to take a wayward person like that, and see Who He was, and freely forgive the woman of her wrong.

He expressed it again greatly when He was dying at Calvary in His last words at the cross, and His enemies' spit was hanging on His face, He cried, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."

No one could love like Him. You can't manufacture that kind of a love. It's a--the gift of God that comes by the Holy Spirit, the only way you'll ever be able to have that love. "Though I speak with tongues of men and Angels and have not that kind of a love,…

Neither Do I Condemn Thee

As the bride of Christ for this hour – according to all of these prophecies and shadows and types in the bible, there is absolutely not one thing against us in this hour.

JOHN 5:24

     24   Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation (judgment); but is passed from death unto life.

No doubt Rahab could have remembered many of the men that she had been with, so could the other woman in the other stories, but even though they still had a memory of it, their judgment was passed, they knew that there accusers had been dealt with forever, there was no one left to bring an accusation against them, and neither did Jesus condemn them.

So this is also out legal stand as the bride of Christ in this hour.
